Prices come from Chainlink via Kamino Scope or from Pyth (a test price on test deployments) and can pause or go stale. New loans and liquidations wait for a valid price; repaying and adding collateral do not. See loan limits or loans at risk.

Who covers a shortfall

When a liquidation does not fully repay a loan, the loss is absorbed in this order.

01
Borrower collateral

The locked stock token is sold first. After a sharp price move, it may not be enough.

02
Safety fund

0 USDC on hand. Built from 15% of every loan fee; no one can withdraw it.

03
Pool funds

Anything still missing comes out of the pool, which lowers what every lender can withdraw.

Fee
1% per 30 days, pro rata to the term, paid in full even when repaid early

Funding locks
1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months or 1 year; leaving before the unlock date costs 3% (1% to the lenders who stay, 2% to the treasury)
Treasury income
5% of loan fees, the 2% early-exit share and any liquidation proceeds above what lenders and the safety fund are owed
